I bought it for an iPod 5. 5th 80GB and even though I ordered the 64MB version thinking it was from this generation, it seems to be from a 5th since it doesn't support the 80GB disk, I had to put a 30GB one and I understand that if I were to put an SSD, it would have to be at most 128GB. So to take into consideration. Furthermore, when placing the screen, the plastic that secures the connector broke. I was able to put it back in place and secure it with Kapton tape to make it functional again, but if I have to remove it again, it might become unusable. I don't think I will buy another logic board again, but if I did, I would have this information in mind. The shipment was fast.
The plate works, almost perfectly. I have set up the iPod, it synced on the first try, I was able to copy music despite it giving me 2 errors at that moment (I will continue copying music if that error persists) The big problem I have is that I use my iPod on docks, and only audio comes out from one channel. I have to move the iPod in the dock for the other channel to play, and it doesn't always work. Please pay attention to this matter. Honestly, I've been thinking about buying more boards to customize my iPads, but with this experience, I don't know if I'll buy again. I'll wait for communication from the seller.

My click wheel ceased to recognise touches and presses to the buttons. The lock still worked and the ipod have erratic button presses when connected to power. Clearly an issue with the mainboard and not the click wheel. The "new" mainboard provided worked as intended and allowed to breathe a new life into my ipod. Thanks!
